Sinopsis

Ganador del Premio del Jurado en el Festival de Sundance 2010, Restrepo es un documental que narra la crónica de un pelotón de soldados americanos enviados al Valle Korengal de Afghanistan, considerado uno de los destinos más peligrosos en el ejército estadounidense. Los testimonios e imágenes de combate recogidas en el documental demuestran una vez más que la realidad supera a la ficción.

Los directores Tim Hetherington y Sebastian Junger se unieron a los hombres del segundo pelotón del 503 Regimiento de Infantería aerotransportada, estacionado en Restrepo, filmando más de 150 horas de actividades del día a día de la avanzada, tanto rutinarias como de combate.
